Tackle heavy brush and tall grass, fields and pastures, food plots, or just cut a trail with the AcrEase rough cut mower. The all-around mower has the highest horsepower and heaviest built decks on the market for pull behind ATV and utility vehicle mowers.
Heavy duty blade spindles can handle 2-inch thick saplings without bending because they have steel hubs, 30mm shafts and large, greaseable bearings. Plus, the twin blade design on the AcrEase reduces the size of the clippings and reduces bunching through a mulch action.
The cutting height can be adjusted easily from 2 inches to 8 inches with the turn of two cranks, and an optional electric lift kit is available, as well.
The main deck of the AcrEase is built out of 10 GA (.135") steel with 7 GA (.179") side plates. The open channel design of the deck is built out of 1/4" thick steel. An additional 1/4" thick steel plate is welded in the blade spindle mounting location, and the three layers of steel in the blade spindle mounting area add up to over 5/8" thick, making the AcrEase the heaviest deck in the industry.
The AcrEase also maintains stability even over rough ground with its four tire design. The mower uses a free pivoting tongue which eliminates bind ups, and because the tires fit within the width of the deck, the mower can trim edges obstruction-free on both sides.
The ATV tongue is included with the MR55B.
The ATV tongue hitches directly to the tow vehicles existing hitch with a provided clevis pin. It offers quick and easy initial installation. The ATV tongue can be quickly interchanged from the offset position to direct behind towing. It also provides quick response maneuverability and stability at high mowing speeds and on steep banks may be reduced slightly.
The AcrEase Floatation Kit adds an extra front and back tire, bolted in the center section of the mower deck. This is handy in the following applications:
- Rough uneven ground where added floatation is needed
- Hard to reach areas at the waters edge around ponds
- Extending over a creek banks edge
- Steep road banks where added traction is needed
- Gradual crowned or peaked areas in a yard
The Wetlands Kit consists of an extra set of tires and mounting brackets.
